Features
Review Queue
The Review Queue provides a centralized view of all documents in review across collections. It shows workflow stage progress, assignment tracking, and supports quick approval and rejection actions directly from the queue.
Requires workflow module
The Review Queue page requires the workflow module to be configured. It uses api.workflow functions for fetching review items and processing approvals. See your workflow configuration for setup details.
Setup
Import the page component and mount it in your Astro routing:
---
import VextroReviewQueuePage from "vextro/pages/VextroReviewQueuePage.astro";
---
<VextroReviewQueuePage
convex={convex}
api={api}
basePath="/admin"
config={config}
/> Page props

Features
Summary cards
The top of the page shows summary counts:
- Total in Review -- all documents currently in any review stage
- Assigned to Me -- documents assigned to the current user
- Per-stage counts -- one card per workflow stage showing how many documents are at that stage
Stage filter tabs
Filter the queue by workflow stage using tabs. An "All" tab shows every document in review, with additional tabs generated dynamically for each configured workflow stage.
Filtering
| Parameter | Values | Description |
|---|---|---|
stage | Stage name or omitted for all | Filter to a specific workflow stage. |
assigned | all, me | Show all assignments or only documents assigned to you. |
Document table
Each row in the review table displays:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Document | The document title, linked to the full editor. |
| Collection | Which collection the document belongs to. |
| Stage | Current workflow stage shown as a color-coded pill. |
| Assigned to | The user or team assigned to review. |
| Updated | Relative time since last update (e.g., "5m ago", "2h ago"). |
| Actions | Quick action buttons. |
Quick actions
Actions are available directly from the queue without opening the document:
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Approve | Approve the document and advance it through the workflow. Accepts an optional comment. |
| Reject | Reject the document with a required reason. |
| Advance | Manually advance the document to the next workflow stage with an optional comment. |
| Open | Navigate to the full document editor for detailed review. |
Action results display as inline feedback messages (success or error).
Workflow stages
Stage pills are color-coded using the getWorkflowStagePillClasses utility, giving each stage a distinct visual identity. The colors are assigned automatically based on your workflow configuration.
